Are You Answering Every Question?

Hello Everyone,

I want to share with you an issue that almost every new or sometimes those that have been in Network Marketing for a while. The truth is that most New Networkers that start out are so excited about their opportunity that they feel they have to answer every question that their prospects ask.

When I was new I was very excited about my opportunity and I was calling EVERYBODY! I was prospecting EVERYDAY and with that came a learning curve for me. Just like most of you that are prospecting, you will come across questions as you are prospecting or following up. The learning curve isn’t prospecting or following up, it’s the questions that come up.

You see, I know you heard this before ” The Person that Is Asking The Questions Controls The Conversation”. Sounds familiar? IT’S TRUE! Let me tell you how many times I’ve prospected and the other person took control of the conversation with a billion questions. And I tried to ANSWER ALL OF THEM! Then they switch the control over to them and they pitch on their opportunity! Sound familiar? I see this happen all the time and a lot of Networkers get frustrated and stop prospecting. It’s ok! It’s not your fault!

Always remember that any opportunity you join you MUST connect with many UPLINES/LEADERS and ask to listen in or do 3-way calls with them. This will shorten your learning curve and help you STAY in CONTROL of the conversation. When you are prospecting, YOU ARE INTERVIEWING THEM! It’s your interview, no matter how you generated the lead, you are fishing for the right person to work with for your business.

You MUST develop POSTURE when interviewing your prospect for your business. This will give you the confidence to keep the call in your favor and not theirs. When you are being interviewed for a job who asks the questions? The person interviewing you!  In the middle of the interview are you going to interrupt that person with a billion questions? NO WAY, That person WON’T LET THAT HAPPEN! The same thing goes in Network Marketing.

Most Network Marketing companies have many tools to overcome this obstacle. When your prospect pounds you with questions in your interview always refer to your company tools, such as a recorded webinar, live webinar, sizzle call, etc. Always stop them and say ” We Will Get To That Later On” and move on to your next question. ( THAT’S HUGE!) I can keep going with this forever with questions and objections but I don’t want to make this too long. I think you get the POINT!

Do I Have To Sell In Network Marketing?

Hello everyone,

I’m going to share a question that is commonly asked by prospects and new reps in Network Marketing. Do I Have To Sell? Good question!

First of all, commissions are not paid unless a product and/or service is sold whether it be one time or auto delivery. Since most of you understand that we give the impression that we are in sales. That is the biggest misconception in Network Marketing.

You see, when you approach a prospect and you start selling the product and/or service you are showing them what they have to do if they decide to join your business. MOST Prospects that you come across DO NOT WANT TO SELL! That’s right!

There is one thing I learned the hard way is that we are Information Providers PERIOD! We use our experience (not always) & other experiences using the product and/or service and share it with others. Networkers should be putting the product and/or services into the hands of others and getting feedback. Don’t SELL it, just ask? Start off with something like this, “I just started my own business and I would like you to try my product and get your opinion on it. Would you do that?” You see, I’m NOT SELLING!

This took me a long time to get accustomed to because I’m a salesman. Way different approach that a salesperson would do. If you are a salesperson or using the sales strategie to recruit or to get product in your customers hands, you NEED TO BE DETRAINED! As I said in older posts SALESMAN SUCK at Network Marketing! So, the next time someone you approach asks you IF THEY HAVE TO SELL? Absolutely NOT, We are Information Providers!

What Is Duplication In Network Marketing?

Hello Everyone,
I would like to share with you a subject that a lot of Networks are confused about. How do you duplicate in this industry? Great question. This is the biggest disease in Network Marketing.

 Let me start off with the definition of Duplication: taking Knowledge and/or a System and showing others how to do the same. What do I mean by that?

Let me break this concept down for you but before I do let’s start with how everyone usually gets started in a Network Marketing company. You start with a company and the first thing you are taught to do is to make a list of close friends and family, then you are taught to venture out to people you don’t know and then the biggest one is to venture the INTERNET. After all of this most networkers are lost at this point and decide to Quit or say Network Marketing doesn’t work.

You see, when you venture to the Internet you have access to everything about EVERYTHING from PPC, social marketing, article marketing, blogging etc. At this point you are being taught strategies to become a Guru before learning how to do the basics the proper way. Now is this Duplication? Its like riding a bike, do you start riding a marathon the first day? Or do you start by trying to balance the bike? The same applies in Network Marketing.

Now the Biggest Leaders in this industry start their Duplication with a system in place. In this system they provide comprehensive training and support to start you off the right way. With their system you become a Master at INVITING! After you start and you sponsor someone into your team you should be able to plug them into the same system to start Duplication. Its that simple! Your team Leaders should have this in place just check with them. Once you have the training and understand of the basics then you can venture to the Internet and stick with ONE Mentor! Learn One strategie at a time and run with it for 30 DAYS! You should get results if you stay consistent.

Now that’s the power of DUPLICATION! If its done this way you should not have anyone trail off or Quit plus you don’t have to be on the phone ALL DAY managing your team. That’s why the system was created by the Leaders. I’m sure this helps and feel free to call me with any questions.

How To Use Facebook Chat

Hello Everyone,

I’m going to share with you a stratagie that I’ve been using for a little less than 30 days. It’s called Facebook Chat! Now I know a lot of you are using it and are not new to this feature, but there is a wrong way and a right way to do this.

First of all, there are about 500 million people that use Facebook everyday yet there are some network marketers that say they ran out of people to talk to. So let me make this clear, there is no way you can run out of people to talk to on Facebook. Now the next thing I see networkers struggle with is BUDGET! Facebook and other social networks give you the ability to have a BUDGET of ZERO DOLLARS and still talk to millions of prospects. Hence there is Beautiful TOOL called Facebook Chat.

Understand that this strategie is not different from offline marketing. What do I mean by that? The first thing people do with Facebook Chat is that they invade on other people’s time without asking. The right thing to say is:

You: Hello Bill

Bill: Hello George

You: Did I catch you at a good time?

This is HUGE because they maybe in the middle of reading e-mails, inviting friends, sending invites etc etc etc. This aggravated me in the beginning when I started to market on Facebook and I began to HATE Facebook Chat. It ANNOYED ME because of this reason but when I analyzed this tool I began to realize that this strategie is POWERFUL if it is done right. So let’s move on. The next think you say is:

Bill: it’s a good time George

George: Great. How are you today?

Bill: Great and you?

George: Excellent. where are you from? what do you do?

Bill: I’m from Tampa, Florida and I’m in real estate. you?

George: That’s great. How long have you lived in Florida? How long have you been in real estate

Bill: I’ve lived here all my life and I’ve been in real estate for over 10 years.

George: I’m sure the economy has effected you, if so have you been looking for anything else?

THIS IS A BIG QUESTION GUYS!

Bill: Yes George, the economy has effected me but I don’t know any other field to get involved.

George: Well Bill. Do you keep your options open when it comes to making money?

Bill: Yes I do George. what do you have?

George: I operate a business from home that gives me the ability to have ongoing income with low start-up costs, support, training and no experience. If you interested in learning more about this great. If not, No  Big Deal.

Bill: I’m interested George. How much is it? Would I have to sell anything?

DON’T THROW UP!

George: Good question. I don’t have time to get into that right now, but I’ll tell you what. (THAT’S  HUGE) Let me have your e-mail and your phone number and I will send you more information about this and I will follow-up with a phone call in the next day or two. Sound Fair?

REMEMBER YOU ARE DOING THEM A FAVOR (POSTURE)!

Bill: Yes it does George. Thank You

That’s it Everyone! Check with your upline and finish this script and close your prospect. NOW REMEMBER, DO NOT THINK YOU CAN CLOSE YOUR PROSPECT VIA TEXT!!!!!!! Don’t make this mistake!!!!!! You need to use the PHONE to follow-up and close!!! PERIOD!! And make sure you get your upline on a 3-way phone call to close them. THAT’S IT!

Attraction Marketing Is Not Taught! Why?

Hello Everyone,
I want to share with you a subject that isn’t taught when someone gets started in their 1st or 5th or 10th business. Attraction Marketing! What is that?

  
The problem here is NOT them or their sponsor, it’s not being able to connect on a personal level with their prospects. But it’s not their FAULT nor their SPONSOR, Attraction Marketing is NOT taught by most people. You see, most people who market Offline or Online or both almost immediately start asking DO YOU KEEP YOUR OPTIONS OPEN? Without even asking their prospect if they are from the area or what do they do for a living. How about people who are sent to websites. Your prospect is not going to sign up on AUTO-PILOT! PERIOD! Some do but it is highly unlikely. People sign up with PEOPLE NOT WEBSITES! So how do you use Attraction Marketing? Good question!


The first thing that TOP LEADERS teach is to MARKET YOURSELF and lead with VALUE. You will be looked at as an EXPERT and a LEADER. Your prospect will then JOIN YOU! When you show VALUE just by sharing what you know even if you are BRAND NEW you will stand out from the crowd. All you have to do is learn a strategie and go out and share it, THAT’S IT! You have to be the problem solver rather than a person that just wants to SPONSOR anyone into your team. Also, you also need a funnel system that brings prospects in that see you as an EXPERT and a LEADER that can help them with their issues. Because as you know about 90% of your prospects will NOT JOIN your business but will look for an EXPERT to help them with their business. HENCE ATTRACTION MARKETING!
Let me start off how someone gets started in a network marketing business. The first thing they are taught to do is make a list of people that they know. After they go through all the NO’S from that list they are then taught to go after the COLD Market ( people they don’t know ). So, you stand around malls, book stores, gas stations etc etc etc. By this time you are pulling your hair out and probably saying “I THINK I SHOULD QUIT”.

If this is used properly you can get into PROFIT from prospects seeking your KNOWLEDGE! Mike Dillard started this and IT WORKS and once you give your prospect VALUE then they will seek what YOUR PRIMARY company you are part of. Then they WILL JOIN YOU!

Are You Chasing After Your Prospects?

Hello Everyone,

I going to share with you a problem that I see all the time with Network Marketers. Whether they are BRAND NEW or in it for a WHILE I always see Networkers RUNNING up to people to ask if they keep their options open or would they like to make more money or whatever. There is nothing wrong with those questions, but I don’t know of any prospects that like it when another person either puts too much pressure or asks a direct question like that in their first sentence.

You see, Ray Higdon said it best “SALESMEN MAKE BAD NETWORK MARKETERS”. Have you ever gone into a department store and go into the electronics section and let say for example you are  looking at a T.V. and you will always have a salesmen that says “CAN I HELP YOU? or YOU KNOW WE HAVE A BETTER T.V. THAN THE ONE YOU ARE LOOKING AT”. Does this sound annoying? Are you taken back? Would you buy a T.V. there? I don’t think so!

The same applies in Network Marketing when you are trying to find prospects. I have another great example: How to do you catch a butterfly? Do you chase it until you can finally grab it? or do you wait until the butterfly comes near you? I bet you if you answered “Yes” to the first question you are most likely NOT going to CATCH that butterfly. On the other hand if you answered “Yes” to the second question “YOU WILL DEFINITELY CATCH IT” 

Before you approach a prospect analyze that person for a minute and see if they even have a smile. See if that’s a person you would want to work with. Now I know your upline has told you “DON’T PREJUDGE” and they are right! But this is not corporate business, THIS IS YOUR BUSINESS! You choose who you want to work with PERIOD! You don’t want everybody in your business, heck for that go work at Wall Street and they will choose a miserable person to work with you! 

The first thing you should say to a prospect is “HELLO!” and smile, make sure you are standing with POSTURE! Then WAIT! If they say “HELLO”, now the butterfly has come to you and you can continue your script. If they don’t say anything or smile then look the other way, THEN DON’T CHASE THEM. YOU WILL NEVER CATCH THEM.

Remember when your prospect gives you the sign by responding to you, don’t forget THIS IS A RELATIONSHIP BUSINESS! Ask them questions about them, then go into your opportunity. Check your upline for a script, it’s very important!
